Ход урока
1. Оргмомент (5 мин)
Приветствие + мотивация:
"Good morning, travelers! Today we’re going on a virtual trip around the world. Ready to explore?"
Видео-затравка (1-2 мин): ролик с красивыми местами мира ("Amazing Places on Our Planet").
Вопрос для обсуждения:
"Which country would you like to visit? Why?" (краткие ответы учеников).
2. Актуализация знаний (7 мин)
Игра "Country Facts Quiz" (используя презентацию):
Учитель показывает изображения стран (Франция, Япония, Бразилия и др.), ученики угадывают:
"This country is famous for the Eiffel Tower. Where is it?"
"People here love sushi and anime. What country is it?"
Лексическая разминка:
Повторениеслов: beach, mountain, volcano, waterfall, hikingчерезигру "Word Cloud"

2. La Tomatina Festival (Spain)
Every August, people in the town of Buñol throw tomatoes at each other for fun! This "food fight" festival started in 1945 and now attracts thousands of tourists. After one hour, the streets look like red rivers!
3. Baby Jumping (Spain)
In the village of Castrillo de Murcia, men dressed as devils jump over babies lying on mattresses! This 400-year-old tradition is meant to protect the babies from evil spirits. Don’t worry—no baby has ever been hurt!
4. Frozen Hair Contest (Canada)
In Yukon’s "Hair Freezing Contest", people sit in hot springs with wet hair in -30°C weather. After a few minutes, their hair turns into icy sculptures! The craziest hairstyle wins.
5. Blackening the Bride (Scotland)
Before a wedding, Scottish brides might be covered in mud, flour, and feathers by friends! This messy tradition symbolizes that marriage can survive hard times.
