«The man, the boy and the donkey.
Урок разработан для учащихся 5-6 класса средней общеобразовательной школы, изучающих иностранный язык со 2 класса.
Тема: Урок домашнего чтения по басне Эзопа «The man,the boy andthe donkey».
Цели: 1) Развитие коммуникативной компетенции
2) Формирование умения взаимодействовать с окружающими
3) Обучение умению работать с проблемным текстом
Форма проведения: урок
Оборудование и материалы: распечатки с текстом и упражнениями.
Представленный урок домашнего чтения по английскому языку можно в полной мере назвать интегрированным, так как:
учащиеся знакомятся с произведением древнегреческого баснописца (внутрипредметная интеграция и элементы диалога культур);
басни Эзопа изучаются в 5 классе в рамках уроков литературы (межпредметная интеграция).
Задача интегрированного урока состоит в разумном сочетании и использовании элементов содержания двух или нескольких смежных программных дисциплин. Главной функцией таких уроков является формирование у учащихся умений и навыков наблюдать, анализировать, систематизировать и обобщать знания из разных учебных предметов.
Интегрированным урокам присущи значительные педагогические возможности. Здесь учащиеся получают глубокие разносторонние знания об объектах изучения, используя информацию из различных предметов, по-новому осмысливают события, явления, обращаются к уже имеющемуся опыту. Все это стимулирует познавательную деятельность учащихся, повышает их мотивацию к изучению предмета, формирует умения анализировать и сравнивать. Учителю, готовящемуся проводить интегрированный урок, следует учитывать, что интеграция – это не простое сложение, а взаимопроникновение учебных предметов.

Текстовый этап а) Упражнение на реконструирование текста Расположите предложения в последовательности, соответствующей тексту. б) Упражнение на перефразирование Составьте пары из слов синонимов. в) Упражнение на обобщение материала Обобщите смысл каждого абзаца с помощью ключевого предложение. Послетекстовый этап а) Упражнение на выявление идеи текста Перефразируйте авторскую формулировку идеи. б) Упражнение на понимание прочитанного текста Согласитесь или не согласитесь с утверждениями. A man and his son were once going with their donkey to the market. When they were walking along a countryman passed them and said: “You fools, what is a donkey for but to ride upon?” So the man put the boy on the donkey and they went on their way.
Soon they passed a group of men, one of whom said: “See that lazy youngster, he lets his father walk while he rides.” So the man ordered his boy to get off, and got on himself.
They hadn’t gone far when they passed two women, one of whom said to the other: “Shame on that lazy man to let his poor little son walk along.” Well, the man didn’t know what to do, but at last he took his boy up before him on the donkey.
By this time they had come to the town, and the passers-by began to jeer and point at them. The man stopped and asked what they were laughing at. The men said: “Aren’t you ashamed of yourself for overloading that poor donkey of yourself and your son?” The man and boy got off and tried to think what to do. They thought and they thought, till at last they raised the donkey to their shoulders.
They went along till they came to the market bridge, when the donkey fell over the bridge and he was drowned. ”That will teach you,” said an old man who had followed them: “Please all, and you will please none.”
