Teachers are necessary for our society and are an integral part of the success of any student. Without teachers, the development of knowledge, skills and values would suffer greatly both in schools and outside them. A teacher is important to each of us for many reasons.
First, teachers are the foundation of our education system. They provide students with the knowledge. It is they who challenge and inspire children to learn, create and think critically. Teachers also act as role models and mentors, passing on important lessons about how to relate to life and its problems.
Secondly, teachers can contribute to the development of important skills and values. They are able to assess the strengths and weaknesses of individual students and set them tasks and tasks to help them develop. Through this, students can acquire skills such as problem solving, communication, collaboration, and critical thinking. In addition, teachers can help instill in students values such as compassion, respect, responsibility and honesty.
Third, teachers create a safe and supportive learning environment. They are ready to provide support, give advice and help students in difficult times. Teachers are caring people who strive to ensure that their students succeed in their studies and not only.
Finally, teachers are the gateway to the big world. They open up opportunities to explore new ideas, cultures and lifestyles, which helps expand horizons. They can encourage students' creativity and foster their understanding of diversity.
It is very difficult to single out your favorite teacher from all the teachers at school. After all, every teacher loves us in his or her own way and mentally prepares us for the future. But the dearest primary school teacher for me is Nataliya Igorevna Rachkova. She taught me how to read and write, always helped me, and studied with me if I didn't understand something. I think it was difficult for her with us, because when she started teaching us, we didn’t know how to do anything. The teacher has to be very patient and demanding to convey to us everything we need to know. But in spite of everything, Nataliya Igorevna did it, and we went to high school with the knowledge that we are supposed to know. She put a part of herself into us and opened the way to the future for us, having gone through all the difficulties of elementary school with us. Somewhere I was lazy, once I didn't want to do something, but looking into her kind eyes, I fulfilled all her requirements and understood that it would be better for me. They say that the eyes are the mirror of the soul, in her eyes I saw only the good: understanding, trust, care, hope, love, experiences. In all the years that Nataliya Igorevna taught us, I never saw indifference in her eyes. Although she sometimes scolded us, but it was not without reason. And now I realize how much this teacher has given me and done for me. And that's why Nataliya Igorevna is my favourite teacher!
In conclusion, I want to say that a teacher is not just a profession that you can learn, but a vocation with which you need to be born and live. I am glad that there are still people who, despite the most difficult conditions, do so much for the new generation. How much kindness, mercy, decency and humanity do you need to have in order to find strength in this life full of deceit and evil, not only to give children knowledge, but also to teach them to exist in these conditions?I think it is very right that 2023 has been declared the Year of the Teacher and Mentor, as the teaching profession deserves great respect.

Учителя необходимы нашему обществу и являются неотъемлемой частью успеха любого ученика. Без учителей развитие знаний, навыков и ценностей сильно пострадало бы как в школах, так и за их пределами. Учитель важен для каждого из нас по многим причинам.
Мне кажется, учителя - это основа нашей системы образования. Они дают ученикам необходимые знания. Они бросают вызов и вдохновляют детей учиться, творить и критически мыслить. Учителя также выступают в качестве образцов для подражания и наставников, передавая важные уроки о том, как относиться к жизни и ее проблемам.
Во-вторых, учителя могут внести свой вклад в развитие важных навыков и ценностей. Они способны оценить сильные и слабые стороны отдельных учащихся и ставить перед ними задачи, чтобы помочь им развиваться. Благодаря этому учащиеся могут приобрести такие навыки, как решение проблем, коммуникация, сотрудничество и критическое мышление. Кроме того, учителя могут помочь привить учащимся такие ценности, как сострадание, уважение, ответственность и честность.
В-третьих, учителя создают безопасную и благоприятную среду обучения. Они готовы оказывать поддержку, давать советы и помогать детям в трудную минуту. Учителя - заботливые люди, которые стремятся к тому, чтобы их ученики преуспевали в учебе и не только.
Наконец, учителя - это ворота в большой мир. Они открывают возможности для изучения новых идей, культур и образа жизни, что помогает расширить кругозор. Они могут поощрять творческий подход учащихся и способствовать их пониманию разнообразия.
Очень трудно выделить своего любимого учителя из всех учителей в школе. В конце концов, каждый учитель любит нас по-своему и морально готовит к будущему. Но самая дорогая для меня учительница начальных классов - Наталья Игоревна Рачкова. Она научила меня читать и писать, всегда помогала мне, училась вместе со мной, если я чего-то не понимала. Я думаю, ей было трудно с нами, потому что, когда она начала учить нас, мы ничего не умели делать. Учитель должен быть очень терпеливым и требовательным, чтобы донести до нас все, что нам нужно знать. Но, несмотря ни на что, она сделала это, и мы пошли в среднюю школу со знаниями, которые нам положено знать. Она вложила в нас частичку себя и открыла нам путь в будущее, пройдя вместе с нами через все трудности начальной школы. Где-то я была ленива, когда-то мне не хотелось что-то делать, но, глядя в ее добрые глаза, я выполняла все ее требования и понимала, что так будет лучше для меня. Говорят, что глаза - зеркало души, в ее глазах я видела только хорошее: понимание, доверие, заботу, надежду, любовь, переживания. За все годы, что Наталья Игоревна учила нас, я ни разу не видела равнодушия в ее глазах. Хотя она иногда и ругала нас, но это было неспроста. И теперь я понимаю, как много этот учитель дал мне и сделал для меня. И именно поэтому Наталья Игоревна - мой самый любимый учитель.
В заключении хочу сказать, что учитель – это не просто профессия, которой можно научиться, а призвание, с которым нужно родиться и жить. Радует, что еще есть люди, которые, несмотря на тяжелейшие условия, так много делают для нового поколения. Сколько же доброты, милосердия, порядочности и человеколюбия нужно иметь, чтобы в этой жизни, полной обмана и зла, находить силы не только давать детям знания, но и учить их существовать в этих условиях? Я считаю, что это очень правильно, что 2023 год объявлен Годом педагога и наставника, так как профессия учителя заслуживает огромного уважения.
