Темаурока : “ What is hot with the young generation?”
Цели урока:
развитие у обучающихся общекультурной, учебно- познавательной,
информационной, коммуникативной и социальной компетенций, которые способствуют самореализации личности, нахождению собственного решения проблемы, своего места в мире.
Задачи урока:
Личностные: создать условия для активной совместной деятельности обучающихся,научить умению выражать собственное мнение, развивать навыки сотрудничества.
Метапредметные: научить использовать различные способы поиска и использования информации, развивать навыки смыслового и логического действий.
Предметные: дать возможность обучающимся проявить умения практического АЯ по теме урока в различных видах речевой деятельности, осуществлять контроль умений обучающихся самостоятельно оценивать себя.
Оборудование: мультимедийный проектор, компьютер,картинки с изображением различных субкультур, раздаточный материал, учебник.
Ход урока.
1.Организационныймомент.(Greeting. Aims.)
T.- Morning, everybody! I’m glad to see you again. I hope you will enjoy our lesson and get a lot of interesting information today.
2.Фонетико-речеваяразминка.
Tell me please, what does the word subculture mean?
P.-Subcultures are the groups of people who have interests different from the main culture.They have a distinct style and identity.Different subcultures have their own believes, values, ideas, slogans, fashion and favourite music.
T.- What is the reason for young people to join any subculture?
P.-Very often this is a way to express their individuality.
T.- What subcultures do you know?
P. – A hippie, an emo, a mod, a punk, a goth, a skinhead,a raver,a biker, hacker, a rocker.
T. (Презентация).Guess please, what subcultures they are.
T.- One of the main features is music. So let’s remember styles of music.

T.- Now I want you to listen some extracts of music. You must guess what music styles they belong to and who can listen to this music.
T.-Now listen to me and agree or disagree with me.
- Russian teens, like British teens, listen to techno music.
- Like punks, bikers dye their hair.
-You listen to classical music as your parents do.
-British children, like Russian children, read a lot.
-Rockers rebel against the society as punks do.
- Skinheads are emotional like emos.
-Bikers listen to reggae as Rastafarians do.
T. Let’s speak about the influence of subcultures on the main culture.
Tell me, please about their advantages and disadvantages.
P1. – It goes without saying that subcultures are very popular nowadays.They are spoken and written about, they are often in the centre of attention.
P2. – But these subcultures are in constant danger of the wrong attention, because these young people may be abused for their extra-
ordinary lifestyle.
P3. –I want to say that there are a lot of talented, creative and intelligent young people among the representatives of youth subcultures.They can have many fantastic and unusual ideas and many of them become very successful in future. A good example of this is the most well-known musical group “The Beatles”.
P4. – But such kinds of young eople can often have personal and family tragedies, they become unsociable and aggressive.
P5. – To my mind young people can make real friends with people who have the same interests and all together they are able to overcome their problems.
P6. – But it’s not a secret that there is a lot of crime and scandals around then. Many of them suffer from nervous breakdowns or drugs and alcohol problems.
P7. – On the other hand, these people may travel a lot, meet different people, share their experience, they don’t need a lot of money.
P8. – I suppose that joining any subculture group is a tribute to fashion, it must be called as a period of maturing and when young people become older theu can refuse their former ideas.
P9. – In conclusion I want to add that we should be more tolerant to each other, respect others values, because everybody has the right for his or her believes.We should learn to cooperate and live in peace.
